Help With Tank Stocking

I recently purchased a new aquarium (have added picture of my set up) . Have had it set up and running for a few weeks now. A mature filter sponge was added from my previous 80l tank into the external filter on my new tank just to get things kick started. Two pearl gourami are in the tank at the moment and seem to have build themselfs a nice bubble nest. The tank is 155l. I have been testing water every 2 days and so far all seems well. Only had a slight trace of nitrite a few days ago but this has since disappeared. PH is 8. Temperature is a consistant 26.

I have an idea of the fish that I would like to put in the tank but thought I would ask on hear and see if anyone had better suggestions or if they thought anything that I was putting in would cause a problem (ive made mistakes in the past so do not want to do it again). The fish I would like are-

1 x Angelfish
6 x peppered cori
6 x dwarf neon rainbow
4 x platy

The only thing I am unsure of is the angelfish as I have never kept one of these before. From the reasearch I have done it seems they would get on with the above tankmates but would rather have an opition from people that have experiance. I will obviously be adding in the fish just a couple per week until fully stocked and will continue to test water reguarly.

If anyone could help that would be much appreciated.

Stocking seems fine, no problems with compatibilty or aggression, the only thing I would say is, fully grown angelfish need a minimum of an 18" tall tank for their fins growth, so long as it is, then you should be fine.

that will work but id leave the angel fish out thats just a personal opinion i dont like them.

Thanks for the replies. Yes the tank is 24 inches tall. That is why I considered an angelfish because the tank is taller than it is long so thought an angel would make a good addition. Is it fine just to get one angel? I read that you should get either 1 or more than 3 to stop aggresion. I wouldn't have the room for 4 I don't think so would have to be just the one.

A single angel is fine. I have one as a centerpiece in my 200L community and he's doing great. Wanted a full grown but bought him medium sized for about 8 quid after finally finding the exact colouration I wanted.
