Alright, basically, I need help deciding on my overflow. Here are the choices...
BTW, we have a generator in case of power failures
Feel free to add some
1) A CPR Overflow
Advantages - Less complicated than other
Disadvantages - Many people report that it gets clogged and loses suction. Therefore there pumps keep chuggin and they flood the room, therefore would have to get a floatswitch. If gone for a while, it could be off for quite a while
Notes: Many people say that as long as you keep it clean, it will not fail.
2) Drilling the tank
Advantages - Can put the intake, outtake in the back
Disadvantages - Have to get the tank cut, and far more complex piping. And if stariners are put on, will stick out.
Notes: This is the safest way
If both of these suck, tell some and maybe post some sites with piping instructions etc. Or maybe your own successful system.
