Help Really Urgent

if the filter was off for sometime, as you say, then the good bacteria will have died and bad bacteria will enter the tank, it may be that is what you are seeing in the tank (cloudy, milky) water?

would that be what the smell is....................yes it is i just opened the external filter i got with the tank ( i havent used this one) and it smells the same oh ####

my whole tank was switched off for 3 days last week ( i happened to be on hols ) the water smelled too, not bad (but is was bad as it doesnt useually smell )

hes fine as usuall, god, i dont half give this fish some grief,how i get away with it i dont know,thats why i love him so much
i am gutted about the clown loach tho, there was no need for that at all,just glad i got the other one out in time,hes still in the krib tank.. will he be ok in there for a while?? not going to risk moving him back until water is spot on

i have 2 clowns with my kribs and they get on just fine so don't worry.sorry to hear about the one.keep your chin up,i'm sure jambo will be fine.

he certainley is.. hes as handsome as ever this morning ( as u can see) and swimming about as normal, he didnt bite me when i fed him, so i assume im forgiven..bless him eh?

hi, no it was still filled with water, all set up, i had just switched the plug off and forgotten to turn it on again,thanks spishkey.jambo is just about a year old now,

Oh Shelagh what a nightmare, don't worry too much over Jambo though, as you've seen Oscar's are pretty tough, he'll get through this no problem.
