Feed him a boiled de-shelled pea, if he's constipated that will help. I think he has dropsy and wont make it tho

He does poop but the feces is long

Does it need to be aquarium salt does normal salt work as well( the salt we use for cooking)

It has to be non iodized salt with no addatives so not table salt. Like kosher salt.

By the way his scales stick out on the sides, it is clear that he has dropsy. You can try to give him epsom salt baths, but fish with dropsy at this stage normally don't make it. You can also try feeding him some peas. Good luck.

Aquarium salt or rock salt. Dont use any salt with iodine in it
