Help my dwarf gourami is super sick

What has happened to my dwarf Gourami? It had a lump yesterday and now a hole in its side.. ?!

The place I bought them from sold me 4, so if having males together is an issue, I had no idea..

What has happened to my dwarf Gourami? It had a lump yesterday and now a hole in its side.. ?!

It either had an internal bacterial infection that has burst through the side of the fish. Or it had an internal parasite (maybe a worm) that has chewed through its side.

Either way there is no cure and the fish should be euthanised because it will develop an infection and die in the near future.
