Hi i am a new member to the forum. I was wondering if anyone could please offer any help or advice on how to get a copperband feeding? she is grazing off live rock but doesnt seem to have an apitite for frozen and have tried live food for past 2 days and still no luck yet. thanx Ellen x

They are very hard to keep alive, my friend had one that lasted about 6 months and that's with it eating frozen brineshrimp every day :/ They really don't do any good in captivity. What size tank have you got it in and what have you got it with? This may affect it's eating.

Do you know what the fish was eating before you got it? Also, how long has it been in your tank? Even hardy fish may refuse food for a few days after being moved. Also, be careful with live food, since finicky fish will sometimes refuse frozen if they start eating live again.

my tank is 240 litres i knew that copperbands hard to feed but its beautifull so thought wud try. i have had her 5 days but only been grazing off the live rock so far. i have shrimps a goby, fire fish and clownfish.

I'd say that it might not feed, like I say my friend had one that looked in perfect shape. Was eating frozen brineshrimp, grazing, happily swimming about and then one day he woke up and it was dead :/ They don't last very long even if they are eating.
