Help Me To Set-up :d

Heya guys 'n' gals,

Right so my 2 foot tank is looking quite shabby so i'm going to give u ppl a full spec of it inside out and i want you ppz to tell me what I need and an average price on everything to get this up to a well planted super tank!

My tank spec:

Dimensions: 24"x12"x12"
Substrate: Sand and coral sand mixed ( dont look very good )
Hood: Plastic not in great condition two slots in back for two bulbs
Lighting: T8 plain flourescent 15 watt (omg) bulb
Filteration: Interpet powerflow 240v (not brilliant)
Heater: is Good about the only thing in tank that is lol

O id like to add I'm a teenager LOL therefore dont rly get a "LOADS" of money so it will take a while to save i guess.... Looking for ure help here

Yes but I do have another tank to move them to I only have a flying fox (soon to be moved to my brother in laws tank) A pearl guarami and a bronze cori. I will move them to another tank while I get this one set-up and planted etc.. I will then add a couple more corys maybe get rid of the pearl gurami and get a couple of red honey guramis, and maybe a plec .

Are you going to do a fishless cycle while you are setting it up?

Yes I just need to know how much it will cost to gear the tank up to grow a well planted set-up and looking good
