I am buying some java moss and ramshorn snails online, and I am stuck in between two choices. T_T

There is a package of 8 Red Ramshorn snails and a clump of nickel-sized java moss for about $17.74
This would be good, but I think the java moss is too small, and I don't think it would be possible to share between four fish bowls.

Or, I can buy the two things separately (from different people): 13 Red Ramshorns for $15.30 and an ounce of Java moss for $5.55. (The 13 snails might be a lot, but I can keep them in my 55 gallon no problem.)

I have no idea, and since I'm doing it on eBay, the closest bid close in about a day, so I'm kind of agitated. :crazy:

If you would be so kind as to honor me with your opinion. :)

as I was typing B4 lol Hello
if you can house the 18 snails then I would go for the second option its alittle more expensive but worth it in the long run as you dont have to wait for the plant to grow before you can put it in all your tanks lol but thats just my 2 cents worth

I've got a few (well, actually a lot) of ramshorn that I want to get rid of. Not sure what variety they are, but they're the ones that max at out at about the size of a dime. You can have em, just cover the postage ;)

Oh, that's very generous!! :D They're pretty expensive online. D: I was looking more of into the red ones. Do you have red ramshorns? (Red happens to be one of my favorite colors) ^ ^;

Mmm none of them are red though :/ I was researching them a few weeks ago, and came across an aquabid listing for them. The seller was calling them fancy ramshorns. I had blue, pink and leopard ramshorns. I gave the pink and leopards to a friend, but I've got medium sized babies, I can't tell what kind they are. All the adults I have are blue.

Here's a link with pics (the aquabid listing has already closed, these are the only pics I could find online)

Notice that the blue isn't really that blue...it's just a little bluish. Lemme know if you still want them ;)

Haha, thanks very much for your offer. :D I'm picky though... > < sorry. The leopards look interesting, though. I wonder if they bred them to be that way or they were like that in the wild. I'll keep looking until I find a decent deal on Aquabid or eBay. Thanks!!
