Help - Do Cardinals Eat Cleaner Shrimps?@

I have a Banggai Cardinal in my quarantine tank, as far as I knew they would be compatible with fishes and my invertibrates - came accross some articles on the net saying that cardinals eat cleaner shrimp - is this true?

Should be fine unless the shrimp is really small. I had one that fancied baby clownfish >.>

it has been known, but cardinals seen in shops are usually juvvies and the shrimp would have to be small.

its been male cardinals that i have read about eating shrimp. They carry their young in their mouth and its pretty big! but i keps cardinals and cleaner / peppermint shrimp together for ages.

its a VERY race occourance it seems!
