Hey all, I could not find a specific area for intros. I am Ashlea new to the forum. I have just today purchased a Betta. His name is Stan. He is a lovely little boy, really healthy and enjoying his new surroundings as we speak. He is a really vivid red. The nicest I have ever seen. He has lovely little blue cheeks! I wish I could kiss em!

Any way, I hope to leach a wealth of info off all of you to keep Stan a happy little Betta!

Welcome! Lovely name choice...my boyfriend named his betta Stan as well because as he put it, "Who would name a fish Stan?!" Well...apparently you and him!

Oh, and you can make kissy faces at him! I do it to mine, but I'm weird like that.

Hey all

Thanks for the replies. I didn't call him Stan though. On the way home from the store in the car I heard a little sound from the packet, I picked it up and he said "hey, my name is Stan, whats yours?" LOL!

It is kinda like that with all my animals, my two dogs, Aeron and Lilly kinda told me what their names were. Sounds lame but, I feel their names out. But I like Stan, it is manly and to the point.
