hello all! :3 i'm a Betta mother from down in SC. i'm an active member of the site #121###.com, and am very passionate about my bettas. of course, i love all fish, but Bettas and goldfish are my favorite, but i currently only have three Bettas, two boys and a girl. they are my spoiled darlings, and i love them very much. because of UB, i've grown even fonder of fish, and have learned alot, espeaclly how to spot illnesses in bettas. i hope to love this site as much as i love UB, and i hope to learn alot more than what i do! :3

I hope you enjoy looking through and helping people if you can on this site. If you have any questions feel free to ask them. I am mostly focused around livebearers, so not much to do with betta's but i think they are beautiful fish with a great personality.

livebearers? like guppies and such? :3 i actually love Guppies, but haven't been able to get any. and, my mom used to breed black Mollies when i was little(it started as an accidental breeding, but went from there! lol). thank you so much for the warm welcome!

Yeah guppies and such. I focus on guppies because i breed them for a living.

that's pretty cool! guppies are so cute. is it hard to breed them?

Nah not hard at all.
All you need is a nice tank for the adults(if your only going to keep the adults you buy from the shop i'd say about 7 gallons) If your going to add the nicest variation's from the fry(babies) I'd say probably about 12 gallons like i have. Then when you have your tank cycled, heated and filtered you can get 1 male and 3 females.
The females will already be pregnant when you get them but should give you fry every month.

I sometimes wish guppies would stop breeding for a month or 2.

yeah, i've heard they breed like bunnies at times.

More like all the time! If you were closer i would have said 'if you set up a tank i'll let you have a couple of babies for about £2 and, if they need sending, £5 p+p'.

where are you from? I saw you said "SC", but to me that translates as South Carolina....am i right? lol...other wise i can't think of what SC could be
