I currently have a heater that has a nob on the top which can be twister over 10 settings - to +. But it doesnt show what temp its going to give out, or the intensity, and it doesnt switch off when the tank gets too the perfect temp 25c. So i was wondering if anyone could recomend a heater that would heat a 125ltr tank and have a function that would allow me to set the designated temp, and for it to turn off when it gets too it.
Thanks.

Whisper and all glass aquariums make heater that has a thermostat on it and you can set it on your desired temp and it will heat the tank to that temp and then turn off.

i bought a bluclima by ferplast for my juwel when the heater broke. has a temp setting ans has been perfect

Well, i have one of the J'a'ger heaters by Eheim and they're thermostatic. They only slowly increase the temp so you don't have to. In other words, you set the temp, and it increases the temp by about +1 every hour so as not to stress out the fish. Plus since it's thermostatic, i'm pretty sure it means it'll turn off when the water is warm enough. I'm not sure if it's the thermostatic quality of the heater, but i've noticed mine does that, so this may help :)

I agree with Fish Mike, you cant get a better heater then a jager heater by Eheim. I shop at big al's online and they are some of the cheaper heaters on there. You cant go wrong investing in one of these.

"This submersible heater is the choice of the serious hobbyist with an easy to adjust thermostat and an impressive .5 f accuracy. No more temperature swing. The pyrex glass construction is far stronger than other glass heaters giving you peace of mind. Completely waterproof. This heater is perfect for fresh or saltwater aquariums. The temperature is adjustable from 64 f and 94 F. the heater includes suction cups for easy installation."

they are not that cheap on that site i find my heater is 150w and it has 10 temp settings that you chose for example 20c 22c 24c... and turns of when it reaches the temp and it was only 30 canadian so if you want a good deal go to your lfs and look for ones that are on the discount rack or for sale ...i got mine 10 bucks of because someone opend the package haha
