all - in a 37 gal tank with one 200W heater - how close should / shouldn't it be, to the filter?  Thanks in advance....

I personally have mine near the filter inlet, the logic being that the warmed water is taken into the filter, and then more quickly distributed throughout the tank by the spraybar.

Mine is also next to my filter inlet for the same reason.

One of my heaters is next to the filter intake tube, but the other heater (I have two because the water was not getting to the temperature I needed it to) is placed above my bubbly stone, which provides heat the less circulated half of the tank.
