He Died!

The male in my avitar has died over night, no visible signs and water was fine. Found him in the corner with his fins largened. The male that shares the water with him ih fine and as normal! Was a nice white and unusual male..... will be missed

Sometimes internal bacteria can cause sudden deaths in the aquarium...Was the betta eating properly and of good body weight before he died? How old was he?

hate it when they die quickly..prob. internal. Got 3 OAPs and I expect them to go any time but not healthy ones. Cant be helped I am afraid...

Not added anything to the water. Tank size is 25L which is divided to allow 2 males, the other one is fine and eating as normal. The tank is heated and filtered, water is fine.

does sound like it was possibly an internal problem then, or old age maybe?
