Have A Cure For Dropsy

I know people will judge me, but I needed to do something, so i separated my black molly who's had dropsy for 2 days, i put her in another tank on her own, now i use this thing called Hydrogen Peroxide, I take it diluted in distilled water, i done this for her and put it in her water, after 2 hours her skin was relaxed back to normal, she started eating again and is active again, I will be observing for a while to see any other differences but shes fine, Hydrogen Peroxide contains oxygen that regains cells in the body, it also helps many other things, I only risked testing this on my fish since i knew she wasnt going to survive, but now i have hope, if she survives the night, i think this is a cure for dropsy.

Any thoughts or questions?

yes i know that people use that for hair dressing but its not that type, its another type called foodgrade which cannot be used for hair because if you did the person wouldnt have any hair left, this is completely different and the molly seems better than ever.

Well if you have just found a cure then that's great news

As you said the fish was probably going to die so if it's cured then good on you for trying something logical ( if you'd poured mr muscle just to try then that wouldn't be very acceptable but the hydrogen paroxide has logic )

Dropsy is actually a symptom, not a disease in itself. It's most often associated with a bacterial issue that affects the internal organs. While it may have worked on this particular issue it may not work on all, or even any others. It is a viable option though, especially in areas where antibiotics are tough to come by.

What is the hardness & pH of the tank water the fish was in, and what was the dilution ratio as well as the concentration of the HP you used?

3% - 1 gallon distilled water, ph is 7.5, hardness is 240
