Harry Potter 'v' Religion

Ok, let me open this can of worms, Harry potter has been discussed to death in the other thread, and fair enough if people have tried to read the book and fould them not to their taste, each to their own.

BUT......

Why, oh why do people have to drag religion into childrens books? What is it about Harry Potter that is so offensive? I would really like to know the particular reasons for any religion to have a problem with any aspect of the Happy Potter series.

I really cannot think of any at all what-so-ever. I suspect that its because there isnt any!
