Harlequin Rasbora In 55L

how many galaxys do you u think i could get in my tank if i was to order some?

If you just went with those, I reckon you'd easily be able to get 15 odd in there, though that's at a guess so I wouldn't quote me on it too much ;)

i had a price up on them earlier and im afraid im going to have to pass. £5-6 each, with delivery on top.. ouch lol

think ill go with some green neon tetra maybe

Ouch! I'm sure I've seen them cheaper in MA stores, is there one any where near you? Green neons would work too if you don't end up getting any galaxys :good:

Mosquito rasbora are tiny and not that active. Quite cheap aswell. However they do like it warmer tjan most fish so tank mates are limited. Sparkling gouramis would work with them

unfortunately not. the tank is going to be a for a single species only, so 10 or so galaxys is just too expensive unfortunately

going for drive tomorrow to see what i can pick up, and ill 100% be coming back with something. hopefully get something good.

Dwarf puffers or killis might also work in there, as would scarlet badis, if you wanted more 'nano' fish. Regular neons maybe at a push, but probably not as suited as micro rasbora species, ember tetras or those green neons you were thinking of. Guppies may also be an option.

I'd look up all the fish you can that would be suitable and make a list, just to avoid any poor LFS advice (not sure what yours is/are like, but I don't always feel I can rely on the ones near me).

thanks for the recommendations. im deffo after a group of small fish as opposed to a single dwarf puffer, etc.

im actually in the process of doing just that(writing a list) would love to get some of these microdevario kubotai

Don't think I've seen those before - nice bold colour. Would look stunning in a densely planted tank. Probably tricky to find though, I hope you have a good LFS!
