Halloween Ideas

I am Thinking of Combining Halloween and my House Warming Together. Or Else I am Not Gonna Get rid of the crates of Booze I bought (I dont Drink For Health Reasons, so it would end up down the Drain).

So Come on Lets see your Costume ideas and How you have Decorated the House in the Past.

I know our American members Celebrate it on a Grander scale than us Brits.

Costumewise, if anything I don a black cape and some fangs and wear my normal stuff and ta-da! A vampire. Or you could go as the Grim Reaper. Now that wuold be cool, if I had a white horse I'd go as Death on Binky

Wow, thast first one rocks! The second is nice too, I've seen them before. Get plenty of candles in, black ones and mebbe red, if you feel crafty (not as in crafty 'mwahaha', I mean crafty as in making things ) you could carve stuff into the candles. Runes perhaps. Fakle cobwebs, or if you have a dark entrance, hang bits of string up so they brush against guests faces.

This year we're gonna either wait at the end of the street and jump out on people (me, my dad and my sister) or ait at home and do the same thing, but at home we could make it more scary so....

My uncle goes all out for Halloween. He rigged up he flagpole one year so when people would walk up this stupid bat would fly down and hit people. Some guy freaked out and broke it and almost punched my uncle . Another year he was a clown and he spraypainted five gallon buckets rainbow colored and walked around on them all night. I would have fallen over after like 30 seconds.

Ultimate, that Alien one (from the movie) looks SICK. No offense, I mean this in the NICEST of possible ways but 13 grand?!?! I thought people who drove Escalades had more money than brains!

Cool Ideas Guys,

A little Expensive but they would be Cool.

I am Gonna See what i Can Scav off some Freinds @ the Odeon and Video Stores.

1 thing i am doing is draping swaths of black Material All down the hall and Down the Stairs.

I like the Idea Us People Do with Paper bags and Tea Lights. Or Paper Lanterns.

Definately have to have jack o lanterns, fake spider webs, a cauldron full of dry ice, and the funny scary music.

edit #2 : stay away from smoke machine, they look good, but the fumes really stink.

So I Am Also hoping to Get this Dragon, For the Front Porch.

Then Jack O Lanterns down the Steps and Garden Path and Drive.

Some Lights around the Door Frame. Fake Spiders and Webs.
Black Silk material Hanging In Swath down the Hall And Stairs.

I cannot go Overboard with the Decorations as Most of the People Coming are "Aracnophobes". + The Wife will Complain.

Spiders or Bats hanging from my Lights - I am Gonna See if I can Get Different Colored Bulbs for these and Change the Colors of teh Living Room Walls. I think that would be Very Cool.

I was a 1920's flapper 2 years back - I made a black satin dress, put that fringey stuff on it. I had a black and sparkley boa, a feather on a head band and a pair of fishnet stockings.

Last year I was a gangster - bonnie and clyde style. I found a cheap pinstripe suit at a thrift store, and a fedora. I got this awesome silver tie and a toy tommy gun. It was awesome.

This year for a Camping halloween party I was a 50's diner waitress. I found this awesome shirt at a thrift store that looked like a waitress shirt. I poofed up my hair, had the plastic rim glasses and a note pad. I went around all night pretending to take peoples orders (and passing out my phone number to a few select hotties. )

Next year for the camping party I plan on being a mad scientist. Simple - just a lab coat and some crazy hair... but I will be carrying around a bunch of test tubes filled with crazy shots. I can't wait for it!

p.s. A halloween housewarming party would be awesome! I have a friend who is having their stag and doe near halloween, so they are having a halloween party for it. Everyone is dressing up, and everything will be decorated for the theme.

Chemicals are always good There was something on Braniac yesterday, not practical in the least but the most fun joke ever When you have friends round, you put Sodium Iodide in the bowl, and Hydrogen Peroxide in the top bit, then when the toilet is flushed.... Most of the room fills with foam That wasn't very helpful, was it
