Hair Algae,so Annoying!

Hi everyone.I have a 65 litre setup containing harlequin rasbora,amano shrimp and peppered cories,there are a few plants(2 crypts and 1 anubias),I don't have any injected co2 and I don't intend to get some and the light is aqua glo by hagen.Thre is now alot of hair algae on the glass of the tank,i have gone over it many times with my algae scraper but I can't get it off.So short of scraping it off with a sharp knife how can I get it off?
