Gutted and HORRIFIED !

So sorry to hear of your loss. My cat ignores the bettas (so far) but gets up on top of the 40 gallon community tank. I shoo her off if I see her, but she's here all day long with just the puppies to keep her in line, and she's bigger than them and doesn't listen to them at all. So far I've been lucky but luck runs out...

Actually.......now that I think about it....... plakats are jumpers more so than HM or CT's aren't they ? Perhaps he jumped onto the desk and was flopping around and the cat thought it was a toy ?

lucklily, me and my dad are allergic to cats, and my dog is afraid of everything. But man, you stayed calm, I can't do that, once, one of my all time favorite fish died (along with all her babies) and I got sooo mad, I kicked a hole right throgh the kitchen wall in my bare foot (I was only two centemeters away from the actual support thing )

as for Synirr: African butterflies are lovely, I'm sorry for your loss as well.
