Guppy Platty Love

Hi

Today I decided to do something about the incompatibilty of the fish we were sold.

The old list is in my signature.

Today we managed to persuade the lfs to take back the gold gouramis and in place we got another 3 male guppies and 3 more panda cories.

Im hoping this should resolve the problem now, any comments?

btw, another LFS has agreed to take the denisonnis off us at a later date when they become too big for the tank so thats that sorted

One thing i forgot to mention which has been funny to watch is, The guppies we bought today were two tiger ones and one red one..... now, the red one is confused and thinks the red coral platties are guppies and is trying to mate with them!!!!!

Will this end up being a problem???

Will we end up with half guppy half platty fish?? (joke)

Ah, these guppies, try it on with anyone they will Not that it will get him anywhere: guppies and platies are genetically too far apart to hybridise (guppies and mollies are just about possible, but the fry tend to die young).

I have heard they have a reputation.... He is picking on one in particular, is this going to upset the plattie after a while and stress it out??
