Hi, can i transfer my guppy fry to a new tank? the water in the new tank is dechlorinated, the flow in the water is very calm, and there is a pump which is set low to create a small amount of bubbles, please help me ASAP, as im worried about putting the fry in danger. The temperature is 24c.

How long has the tank been cycled cause you will bacteria on your filter.

A sponge filter would be better than a mechanical one as the fry will sucked up.

the filter is a fluval 3....its covered in pantyhose.....and the tanks is pretty big.....

Is the tank cycled?

If so, you can put them in there, but be sure to acclimate them slowly. :)

do you mean...let the temperature equalise and add a little of the new water to the bag? is it just like transfering a adult fish? but with more care?

i set up the tank yesterday.....how long should it leave it for before i put them in....for now they are fine in the net.....
