Hi i am new to taking care of guppies. had them for a few months now. I have had one that has gotten mouth rot but that going away now thanks too a treatment of PimaFix Antifungal remedy its natural. So im using that and the fish is improving. Another fish got his tail ripped (filter another fish im not sure) hes is also growing it back. anyhow to get to the point the fish with the ripped fins is starting to look like his back is being a bit like fish who have had it broken? I am not sure if this is my imagination or if there is some disease that can do that to guppies? its only a slight bend but i think it is noticeable and am wondering what it could be? everybody else in the tank is happy out. Many thanks for any help on this matter, the one that its happening to is my favorite male. :(

Do a huge water change Bri. Medications are almost always a complete failure unless you have a definite disease diagnosis but a water change, by itself, will cure almost anything that is common except ich. Torn fins, bent backs, etc. have nothing to do with "guppy disease" so you do not have a diagnosis of anything really. Many common ailments are caused by less than ideal water conditions so a huge water change is often a proper response by a fish keeper.
