Okay, well since I completely destroyed the bene bacteria, would it be safer to put them in the 29g now rather than the 10?

I say it's about the same amount of safeness. Probably, I'd stick them in the 29 gallon, then treat that tank, with whatever you use. And just boil the decorations again.
