Guppy Babies

ok so i was about to do my ritual water change last night in the "mummy to be' tank and low and behold we had FRY.... i couldnt believe it i had been keeping a really close eye on the 2 girls i have in there.... found 3 fry in the tank which i was dissapointed about as she was HUGE.

i put them in the birth tank as i am sure they ate the rest.. Got up this morning and was lookin for more
went to feed the boys which are in there own tank and found 5 MORE BABIES in there
You see the girls had been in there the week before and OBVIOUSLY one of them had SPAT OUT FRY with out TELLING ME how inconsiderate
God this is my first lot of fry hopefully i will be a better GRANDMA next time

Will post pics soon I am just a bit dissapointed that i missed the birth and may have been able to save more

Congrats. If there is adequate cover in those tanks you will probably have a few survive to get full grown.

Heaps of cover in the tanks i have them all in the birth tank now as i want them to survive...and will then sex them and separate into appropriate tanks ... i may find more when i go home tonight didnt have a great deal of time this morning rushing kids, catching fry, feeding dog feeding cats feeding fish
