is it possible to speed up a guppy pregnancy and if it is how do you do it because i got told you could and im just interested in how you would do it an replys would be great !!
You can by raising the temp, however the higher then temp, the more chance of thing going wrong and getting few fry survive, and you can also lose the female from stress of doing that.
So I idearlt keep them betweeen 74-78 oF and you should get fry ever 28-32 days
all my birthing and fry tanks are set at 79/26 and all my community are at 75/24 degrees, dont go any higher as problems will occur.
if at the end of pregnancy just simply keeping the lights off on the tank will reduce the stress of birthing for your females as well so things should run smoothly and she shouldnt hold on to fry like she could if stressed out
