How common is it for Guppies to have TB? One of mine thinned out in a terrible manner. I had him for 2.5 months before culling him this week. The last month of those 2.5 months, he was terribly thin, but I hesitated to put an end to him b/c he was my son's fish.
I have levamisole which I can use to deworm him and his three guppy tank mates, but want to confirm first that TB is rare. I'm just not that familiar with TB enough to know if my fish could have had that. One of my other fish did have camallanus, but after I removed him from the tank and treated with levamisole, none of the other fish have shown any signs of the red threads.
Any experience or thoughts regarding this?
FWIW - the only "symptom" I could find in common with TB was the emaciation. He still ate, swam, and interacted with the other fish.
Thanks for any help!
