Gudgeons, Platies, and Licorice Gouramis

My LFS had some of those Gudgeons in recently, what are they like in a community?

Any special requirements?

Peacocks do well in community settings, they can mix with tetras, gouramis, dwarf cichlids, other small gobies, badis, and most small catfish IME. They don't need any special requirements, other than freeze dried/frozen food will be all they eat ;)

Here's a full tank shot I took last month :*) I'll try and get a newer tank shot sometime this week.

Your Peacock gobies and Licorice gouramis are stunning! I love their set-up!

BTW - How do you sex the peacocks?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments :)

cometcattle - The gudgeons are pretty easy to sex
1. the male is bigger than the female
2. the female has a yellowish belly
3. the male gets a hump on his head

pm dwarfs or lucky62 about them..they have a lot more experience with them than I do

Great tank Elizabeth!
*MAM adds licorice gouramis and peacock gudgeons to her long fish wish list*
Nice shots of the fish too. That platy pic is great!
