Okay so we picked up a flowerhorn about 1 1/2 inches and named him Hornbag, i dont think its a good quilty one but yet i dont really know about flowerhorns.
He was ment to be €14.99 but the girl didnt have a clue and sold him for €2.99 :hyper:

So im going to do a growth log to see how fast he grows and how much his colour changes.

After being on flowerhorn forums i was told that he might be a classic zz FH but wont know untill he grows a bit more. So im going to get him some new food today.
Any suggestions for food? Thanks :)

No help from me i'm afraid, but he/she is absolutely gorgeous! well done on the price too. I would have been back the following day to get the rest. lol.

Wish i could but i dont have space for another. Hes going in a 100g on his own. Some are extremely aggressive.
But i might try silver dollars with him

Hornbag is moving into his 100g today. He is starting to get orange/red on his fins.
Will update later with some pics

pics will be up soon..
temp is at 20 but waiting till its 24 to add him..

also picked up 7 silver dollars as dithers. i wanted 8 but only had 7 so will add them also

He really has lost some colour! I'm sure he will soon colour back up! My firemouth is extremely pale at the moment having removed probably 60% of the water as i had an issue with my filter being setup wrong and needing to remove this amount of water to be able to alter it. Everybody seems happy though.

Also really like your dollars, any other fishies planned? Are the flowerhorns really aggressive then? Won't he bother the dollars?

Keep us posted, cracking little beauty!

i have 2 juvi severums and 2 juvi blue acaras that might go in there temperarily until i get them rehomed..or i could try keep them with Hornbag but im pretty sure he'll have them for lunch once he gets some growth on him
