I've been lurking here a bit, but just now registered. How are you all doing? :)

I and my 7 year old son have between us 20 tanks in the house which does not include the 24 betta plakats that have been recently jarred into their own tanks or the 2 that I'm about to set up. My son raises Limia Perugias and has been selling them on ab. the boys got more money than mom does! lol He's also got a habrosus cory tank that we're battling the blue green algae, but the fish are trying to lay eggs, but the meds for the algae kills the eggs, so we're having to wait for the blessed arrival of our new cats.

My tanks are a mix of angel fish (with the many grow outs that requires), bettas (halfmoons and plakats), then a tank of green moscow guppies, A random african cichlid (that I actually would like to find a home for) and a deck pond of mollies.

That's everyone here!:) There's a few things I wanted to share as well, but will do so in the appropriate section of the forum:)

Nice to meet you all and see you soon!

Hiya and welcome to the forum peny, Do you know what Africans you have? as I may be interested

Thanks:) Yep my African is a Melanochromis Auratus. He's going through his color changing time, so going to the purpley that they get. He's a good fish, loves loves loves his live food when I gift him of the baby mollies (maybe once a week) otherwise he's on cichlid pellets and loves those. his castle if I can fit it in the box and is wanted, will go with him...lol He sleeps inside his castle:)

I dont really recommend these fish for any sort of community, what have you got him with?.

Feeder fish is the worst thing you could feed him, he is a mbuna which are mostly herbivore//Omnivore and a high protein diet could lead to bloat and kill the fish.
