Green Water Again

yet again green water seems to be starting up again. so im looking around for uv sterilizers. found this one, anyone ever used it or could recommend it???

UV sterilizers work just fine, but are often unnecessary. If you eliminate the causes of green water, it doesn't come back.

the cause is bad location and cant move tank. everytime around this time off year it just comes back, despite weekly large water changes and limited feeding and aquarium lights switched on.

Yeah, in this situation, a UV sterilizer will fit the bill just nicely.

I've never had experience with that particular sterilizer before, but it should work.

Have you got space in your tank that would allow some algae eaters to help you sort this out naturally (obviously depending upon what your other fish are)?

• Butterfly Goodeid [8cm male, 12cm female]
• Florida Flagfish [hmm, 5 or 6cm???]
• Panda Garra[7cm]
• Oto (common, zebra [4cm] or gigantes [8cm])

Algae eaters do not eat free floating algae involved with green water.
