Green Terror Bloated / Euthanasia

Good Morning.
The short version is that I have a Green Terror with some serious bloat.... it has been this way for at least 7-10 days. I have tried most everything including meds,
full and multiple water changes, limiting food intake etc. At this point and sadly, I am considering Euthanasia. Hoping to get some ideas on a humane way of doing this.
In years of experience with Cichlids I have never quite encountered this issue. Appreciated.

Clove oil is what many of us use, available in health food stores and on line. . But before you go there, have you tried epsom salt to relieve the blockage?

I use clove oil. Choose a sealable and disposable bag/container big enough to hold the fish and either use tank water or dechlorinated tap to fill it enough to cover the fish plus a little.

Add enough clove oil to the water in bag/container so that when you close it and shake it the oil droplets will break up and make the water milky. Immediately place your fish in the water. It will thrash for a couple seconds and then as the oil gets into the system they will slow down and stop moving, once they stop visibly "breathing" you can move the bag/container into the freezer for 6 hours-overnight.
