hey, i have a 260 litre tank (wider than taller) with african cichlids, ph is about 7.8 - 8.0 i got 1 9" frontosa i have 2 margano males a marble peacock, psedophetrous salousi and about 6 other average sized cichlids and a big leopard gibbicep, im wondering if it is safe to put in a green severum.. i know that he will get pounded in the first hour that he comes in because of all my other fish (being territorial) what do you guys think? should i add a 3 inch severum to the tank?

No, it won't work, african cichlids 'play by different rules' to that of the CA/SA cichlids and you will find that the Severum, which isn't a particular aggressive species will get constantly harassed most likely until it is killed

mmm ok it was just a question :p

im not going to do it
