I think so. I believe Parker313 has 2 green sevs in her 46 gallon with some rainbows, and she used to have angels. I am not sure how they are doing though; why don't you ask her?

I do have Sevs, but I also know they will outgrow my 46. They get big, and need more room than I can accommodate them right now - they're only 2" right now.

I also didn't have them with my angels - the rainbowfish (supposedly very peaceful) killed one of my angels and were starting on the other so he went back to the lfs and I got the Sevs instead.

They are supposed to be peaceful, but I know both Sevs and Angels can get very aggressive when spawning, so I don't know if it would be a good idea and I definitely wouldn't do it in a 45 unless both Sevs and Angels were small and there were plans actually in progress to move to a bigger tank.

As far as actual compatibility, no, I don't have personal experience though.

Great memory David

:p Thanks. By the way can I call you Kristin? Parker sounds weird. Is that your last name?

i saw green severums and angelfish in a tank together in the lfs today.

not that that means you can do it since the lfs also put dragonfish in with oscars...

I have a full grown green sev, and he shares his tank with a couple of rainbow cichlids. They were in the tank before I introduced him, but now that he's established his territory; if I try to add anything else, he will tear them to shreds!! Anyway, I don't know if a sev will go with Angels; I don't see why not as they are very gentle and peaceful most of the time!! But if you are going to try it, don't let the sev establish a territory first otherwise you'll end up with a tank like mine!!!!

In that case, I would say no - angels get very tall so they should be in a tank that's 18" tall at the minimum. I guess the difference is b/c mine's a bowfront - only 36" long, but 20" tall to go with the 15" deep...

Thanks. By the way can I call you Kristin?
Yes, that's fine. Parker's the last name and 3/13 is our anniversary date - easy for me to remember
