Gouramis And Mixing....

Im setting up my tank and DEFFINETLY getting Gouramis.....Just wanted to know what you lot thought of getting a red tailed shark aswell, I'm thinking that it wouldn't work because ive heard of the sharks aggression. but worth a try?

It depends upon the gourami species. Several gouramis can be quite agressive too, and would be able to hold themselves in a tank with a red tailed shark. You could think about the 3-spot, alias opaline gourami for instance.

red tails so get up to 6 inches (15 cm) so your tank better be big. what types of gourami are u getting? it'd have to depend on the species. as far as i know, red tails are only aggressive towards their own kind and other 'sharks', eg rainbow sharks.
