Gourami Tank Mates

I will be setting up a gourami tank and these are the fish I have and will be adding

4 female blue gourami
3 female gold gourami
1 male gold gourami
2 female pearl gourami (adding)
2 female moon gourami (adding)

I wanted to know what kind of tank mates I could add. I'm trying to keep it Asian and I'd like to know what smaller fish I could keep. I have a 55 gallon tank cycled with plants and driftwood. Suggestions...

I thought different gourami breeds couldn't be mixed?? - I'm no expert though, that was just what I understood.

Generally they wouldn't be mixed up much, but I think with the mix above, having just one male, they'd be quite peaceful.

I see they have ample space too. Good luck, Gouramis are my favourite
