Do the red dots look like a parasite or food.

Septicemia the dots shouldn't fall off. They will look like blood pin prick marks if its septicemia.

Did the red dots move on the fish.

OK, I am the worst idiot in the world. I forgot to put a top of the bowl on. Of course, the gormarany jumped out.

I guess that the moral of this is never get desiezed fish, never get a friend a fish without telling them, and ALWAYS keep the cover on.

Anyway, thanks for your help, Wilder. I think that If I hadn't botched it up and keept the cover on, he would have gotten better. (BTW, incase you are worried, I'm not blaming you. Your help was excellent, but I made the mistake.)
