Got A Free Danio

Hey,

When I bought my new BN plec yesterday the LFS assistant had trouble catching the Plec I wanted but when he eventually cornered it and caught it he also caught a Glowlight Danio. The dilemma is that I don't want to put the Danio in my tank with my Gouramis, Corydoras, Plec and Shrimp so I put him in my Dads tank with a school of WCMM. He does blend in with them but I don't think its kind him not being with his own kind.

My Dads tank is a 30 x 12 x 15 and has about 15ish WCMM in there, could I squeeze in a few more Danios to make the guy feel more relaxed?

Why didn't you get it removed from the bag before you left the LFS? I'd take it back to them

That happened to me. Bought 6 neons and when I got home there was a silver-tip tetra in the bag. Neither me nor the shop girl had noticed. Anyway I didn't get any more and he's happy schooling with my Pristella tetras.

I have 8 WCMM and 7 Glowlight Danio. Though they shoal close to the WCMM they also keep to themselves mainly. If the tank has room some more would be ok, they like similar conditions to the WCMMs.
