Corydoras World is without any question the most reliable site for Corydoradinae species; this is a pay site owned by Ian Fuller but he also runs the free FB group of the same name. Planet Catfish is the same for catfish in general. For loaches there is Loaches Online, also free.

Planet catfish and loaches online are both reliable. Aqadvisor, while far from perfect, is a good place to start figuring out stocking levels once you've done your research on water conditions and compatibility.
