Golden Snails and Salt

Can Golden snails take salt in a freshwater tank (have Mollies in tank also)?

As I said in your Oddballs thread:

I was originally going to say no but then I remembered that canas are found in the salt marshes of Florida, amongst other places and are able to tolerate it. It's still iffy IMO but I wouldn't risk it not knowing the species.
