I really want the fry to survive so whats the best course of action. Not sure how long the stay eggs for put there looks to be about 100 of them. Should i wait for them to hatch or scoop them up some how. The rams are protecting them at the moment, the tank has 2 rams 3 sword tales (a canny few sword tale fry), 7 tetras 4 rainbow coloured sail fins (not exact name im sure) a mail betta 2 plecs ones a bulldog plec and ones a leapord plecs.
I have a breeding net to transfer to first and if a catch some i will get a new breeding tank as my swords breed alot to.
can anyone give me general advise on what to do.

only got these fish last week so i am quite happy :)

not sure if this was the best forum to post this in.
the tank is a juwel 180 running a hagen fluval 4 and a ehiem 2213, quite well planted runing co2 as well

to late eggs have disapeared. any advice for next time they lay would be nice. can i dyphon the eggs into a breeding net ?

I wouldn't use a breeding net. Most egg laying fish fry are far too fragile and small to survive in a breeding net. Your best bet is to remove the object that the rams laid their eggs on to another tank, with very low pH, very soft water. If you do a google search on "breeding blue rams" or gold rams, you'll get a ton of hits with some pretty step by step instructions.

Good luck

remove all the fish but the rams. Thye should breed again in a few weeks. This way the rams will be able to take care of the fry, and many will sr fish.

think i willl buy a small breeding tank and when they lay again transfer what ever they layed there eggs on into it, was a rock last time.

Thanks for the advise
