gold bristlenose

can two male bristlenoses live in one tank?. tank is 30 gallons,one normal bristle and one gold.the normal bristle was always dominent but as long as the gold kept out of his way they seemed to come to a compromise. the gold was acting normally they each had their own bogwood,but now the gold seems to be staying on the filter all the time, wont come into the tank,seems quite unhappy,will i have to seperate them?

I'd say you should seperate them - 30 gals isn't really big enough for two territories.
