Going Away For 2 Weeks And Grandparents Feeding Fish?

so im going away for 2 weeks and have grandparents feeding the fish..... what should i tell them to do?
feed them once a day flakes, pellets, algae wafers
once every 2-3 days
or is it better to just say only feed them once a week just so im sure they wont starve
i think i trust them to feed sensible portions if i showed them how much but them you just cant trust some people with your fish

Have you seen those mon-sun pill containers? Each one has a day name on it and a flip lid.

Buy one, measure out food for each day and they just give it to them.
Can't go wrong with that!

When I leave I just get some of those little plastic disposable cups with lids. I put the food for each day and the date on it. That way whoever looks after my fish just has to dump that days food in.

My advice would be to show them what food and the amount to put in. Then if you usually feed twice a day, every day then ask your fish-sitters just to feed once every other day. That way if they do over feed (and most fish-sitters do ) then it wont harm the tank and if they don't then your fish will be glad to see you when you return.
