Are glow lights really that tough? Im planning on putting it in a 65g tank. Do they have any special needs or compatibility problems?

P.T.

YA!!!!!

Get at least 10 so you can see their cool behaviors! Females get really fat and males are slimmer. They don't really need anything special and are really tough. They are a nice with neons so you have lots of flashes of color! Their stripe gets brighter as they get bigger. Male's bodies turn a darker color which just makes the stripe stand out more!

Hemigrammus erythrozonus, (GlowLight), is a pretty undemanding fish. Originally from clear soft acid environments, it has been thoroughly domesticated and accepts a wide range of water conditions. Peaceful and attractive addition to communities with fish that are not big enough to eat them!

One of the easiest Characins to breed incidently, they will frequently drop eggs in a community tank, but they rarely hatch. Needs soft water to hatch and raise the young.
