Hi, I'm a complete newbie here, be gentle!! :)

I have 4 giant danios in with 2 angels, 1 rainbow, 1 garra rufa and 1 golden gourami (100ltr tank it's a new set-up 3-months). Today I noticed one of the danios has a bulge on its underbelly between the two fins. It's red and smooth but it looks like something in it. I cannot find any pics of danios ready to lay eggs so I have no idea if that's the issue. I have treated the tank for parasites today in case of a parasite and I've isolated it in a net nursery. I have no doctor tank. It's behaviour is normal today but my rainbow and garra rufa seem a bit interested in following it about, almost ready to start bullying. I've had the water tested this weekend and all is fine apart from a tiny amount of ammonia (I've been away a week and the people looking after the fish may have over fed). Ammolock and aquaclear balls popped in after another 10% water change.

Any ideas??

Thanks, Jo x
