Ghostknife Emergency

Please please someone help me! I bought a black ghost knife today, as i was told it would be ok in my community tank, and told by someone else that it wouldn't! My fiance told me to go ahead, but now I am worried that he will eat my fish! I can't seem to get a straight answer from books or aquatics centres! Any info on these fish and whether I should take it back asap or not?!

what other fish do you have in the tank and how big is it?

I have a couple of neons and some black tetras (the ones I'm worried about!) and then some bigger fish, like silver shark, congo tetras, rainbow fish, plecos, elephant nose.
The ghostknife is only small at the moment (couple of inches i think).

I don't know a whole lot about your specific fish in the tank. maybe somebody else can help you if you posted the size of your aquarium.
Like I said I don't anything about ghostnifes but it seems small enough for now to have in the tank. however, I would still take him back to the store.

Thanx for your reply, my tank is 4 ft long, I already have an angel fish with my neons and they are fine together, so not sure if my ghostknife will settle in aswell.
He didn't eat any last night!
