I'm wondering about a pair of Uaru for my tank now...

Yes I will keep you guys up dated. I might start a little blog for them in the photo section. I will get some better photos of them now that they are not as scared of me. Only thing I have a problem with is I bought this nice new heater for the tank because I want to keep them at 80-82F. THE stupid heater broke the first day I got it. I am running a small heater for my 10 gal in this 20 gal and it's just not getting the job done. I notice when the water is warmer they swim around do better. Once I get the heater thing all set they should get better fast I hope.

Both are eatting now. Still not as interested as they should be in food but with time they will come around. I have SO much Java moss I gave them some to pick at they like to snack on it. Talk about plant eatter they are way worst then any severum imo. You can tell these guys are smart. Its so funny for me to see Cichlids get along so well. I wish I could sex them becaues I want to give them proper names. They could be a pair yet I have no clue. All I know is they are best of friends and I love that about them. they do everything together.

Seeing these guys has made me think. Maybe from now on all I will do is rescue fish in need no more buying. I can't right now my tanks are full, but in the Furture I might. I do dog and cat rescue why not fish too.
