Getting Fish In The Snow

As some of you in England know its being snowing very badly!

But I had to go and get the tarantulas some crickets, so off i walked some 20 mins away in the snow, not too slippy as long as I walked on the crunchy snow! But then it came to the railway bridge stairs where I had to pull myself up them using the railings :\ but all in all not too bad

since my lfs is a fish/reptile shop i naturally had a look at the fish...and couldnt turn down a beautiful male ram, it was wrapped tightly in newspaper and the guy told me the fish will be fine for 20 mins

and so i set off, hadnt slipped yet got up the first bridge steps, fine...second bridge on the way down not so fine =[ i lost my footing on the first step but managed to hold on but the bag with the fish in crashed into the railings! i was so very nearly home!

thankfully when i got in all was fine, he was just a little cold and scared, so im acclimatising him now very slowly

Im just glad hes okay, next time i wont be going to get fish in the snow =[

glad you and the ram are ok

i live in Hereford and we had several inches of snow today in about 1.5 hours.lol very slippy and more on the way they suspect.

pics of the ram would be great!

In 5 minutes we got 5 inch's of snow... West midlands for teh win.

Glad the fish made it home safe.

Time to attempt to make an igloo eeh?

I can confirm Bournemouth is snowless (well except for about 10 minutes earlier today). Aw hon sorry to hear that hope he is settling in well and wasnt too traumered xx
