Getting back into fishkeeping - What's new?

I haven't kept any fish since 2010, now I'm looking to get back into keeping some bristlenose plecos.

I'm wondering what would be the best filter for a 80cm x 40 x 40 tank? I used to use those fluval box filters, but I feel there may be a lot better out there now, and maybe a better one specifically for plecos.

Welcome to the forum

As well as the HOB style filters check out the small externals like the Oase Filtosmarts - you can get the thermo versions which includes a heater so you save room in the tank.
