Hi all, wolly here, how is the world of fishkeeping. After a while of being out of it, much to a small disaster with it i am back eteting with it again
happy days.
I like my big fish and small fish alike, but i tend to be more big fish, last time i had silver Aro, peacock bass and Motoro stingrays. I plan on the same but no rays this time as i love Plec`s such a big variety.
my tanks are a small 110l which i got a few week back which i got for £20 with a decent stand but i had to replace the base, now this wa to go in the space in the dining kitchen what i had space for for a 3x3x2, now i was going to make my own or buy it made but £450 is a bit daft to me for a tank, and making my own was put on hold as i came out of work so had to hold back the pennies. The reason i got the broken one.
BUT, as of last night i was mooching on ebay and as mad as it is i came by a tank of near the size i wanted, custom size aswell at 38x30x30 and 450l, also with a BOYU light, T5 i think, but ablue and white and for Marine, i will see if i can use them with tropical.
The good bit here is a won it for the massive sum of £11

You think i will be ok with this lighting on tropical
The only thing is the middle light does not work, bulb is fine , i will see if the switch is broke when i get home as off to hospital today for an op.
I plan to get a baby silver aro and 3-4 peacock bass to grow out, along with some plec`s, goldne nugget, royal etc, then in to a 4x4x2 and so on, i have planes for next years 1200g tank if all goes well, if not i will settle for a 500-600g
Just need to decide on either sump, which i like and use mor ethan anyhtign or easy and 2 canisters, we will see.
